Summer in Trysil

Trysil Hyttegrend is located at Øråneset, one of the most beautiful sites along the Trysil river. You can try out your fishing luck nearby, and we have rowboats that you can borrow free of charge. At Øråneset you are in the middle of a fisherman’s paradise and the local trout and grayling are just waiting for your hook. At the riverside, there is a large Sami tent where you can enjoy a barbecue and warm yourself by the bonfire on a delightful summer’s eve — experience the peacefulness and oneness with nature together with family or friends.

During the summer season, Trysil has a tremendous diversity of events and activities to choose from. There are excellent fishing opportunities both in the Trysil river and in other local lakes. You can experience magnificent nature on a quiet and peaceful canoe ride down the Trysil river. For persons looking for a bit more fast-paced excitement, we have canyoning, rafting and kayak tours.
Trysil has a rich fauna, and we organise beaver and elk safaris on foot, by canoe and by buss. And an 18-hole golfarea.
